I have just returned from the "middle" of the 10/40 window in Southern and Northern India where our team held a Front Line Shepherd's conference for Global Advance. Five Hundred thirty-two pastors drank from fresh wells of the anointing. They were so hungry and God honored their desires with a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit. During the worship on the second day we began to dance and the pastors ran to accompany us on the stage in the "joy of the dance." It was a breakthrough in the three day, 21 session meeting.

 

The day after the conference was over, Joshua Nations trained over 200 pastors who are going to establish Bible training centers in India. What a joy it was to give them their curriculum. These leaders will raise up thousands of students in the next few years.

Dave Wurtsbaugh, Richard Speck and I then flew north to New Dehli and the city of Chandigarh. In partnership with Global Advance, we trained key leaders who will also start schools. Five Thousand books have been printed and all will be given to as many students this year. There is truly a "God Rush" everywhere we go. God has placed Joshua Nations in the most populated and un-evangelized area of the world.
 

He Kissed My Bible

I was sitting next to a Muslim on the flight from Washington D.C. to Chennai, India. He asked me what book I was reading and I said, "My Bible." He reached over and took it from me, bowed his head in reverence and kissed my Bible. I was overcome by his action. We had a great conversation about who Jesus really is. Everyone, everywhere is hungry for Jesus. He gave me his card and we will talk again.

The explosive, exponential influence of Joshua Nations in the earth is a surprise to us. New opportunities are ever before us. God continues to give us "Divine Appointments" in so many different places. We will soon meet with a bishop from Belarus, Russia who is over 800 churches. He wants us to come and train their leaders to plant Bible training centers. We are beginning to translate the curriculum into Russian to start schools in Siberia. We are planning to translate the materials into Chinese, Urdu and Arabic. Pray for these doors to open.

Training New Leaders

Since our last newsletter we have trained 21 leaders of our Global Leadership Team to train national leaders to set up more schools. This is the beginning of building a great infrastructure for all of the "open doors" for the 80 nations of the future. In October I will be training the Global Advance international leaders in Rockwall, Texas who represent "tens of thousands" of churches. We are now preparing teams to go into Mexico City, Verde Islands and Jamaica before 2009.

While flying to India I was reading Paul's letters to the Corinthians and came to a verse that states, "…it is to us that the ends of the earth have come." (1 Cor. 10:11) It is an urgent call to all of us in a world that is "stunned and staggered" by sin and moral darkness and lostness.
